How do bombs work in candy crush

The number on the inside of the candy bomb corresponds to the number of moves you have to clear the bomb before it explodes.

When a candy bomb explodes, the turn ends and you lose a life. In levels, even when all candy bombs are cleared on the board, new ones can drop down. Candy bombs can also be contained in other blockers, like licorice Xs. Candy Bombs first appear in level 96 and the amount of moves you get can greatly vary from 50 in level to 3 in level If you match two stripes together, no matter which direction the stripes are going, one row of candies will be wiped out horizontally, and one row will be wiped out vertically so that it looks like a cross.

But the best kind of special, board clearing candy you can get comes when you match five of the same candy together. That's when you get a sprinkle candy.

A sprinkle candy will explode all of the same-color candies on the board. All you have to do is knock it into a neighboring candy of your choice.

If you match a sprinkle candy with a striped candy, it does an even greater amount of damage to the board. It turns all candies of that color into striped candies, exploding entire lines of candy either vertically or horizontally from them.

If you knock a sprinkle candy into a bomb candy, it will turn other candies of that color into bombs for a greater effect. If you complete a match with a bomb candy, it will knock out at least 9 of the surrounding candies.

They're great for clearing out specific, pesky areas. But what happens if you match two sprinkle candies together?

The best thing ever. Every candy on the board is wiped out. Note: this does not wipe out licorice those black things in the screenshot below. We'll get to licorice in a second. As you progress in the game, new challenging features arise. The chocolate appears at level 51 and it spreads like a cancer if you don't get rid of it. The number will count down with every move you make until they reach zero. If you don't remove them before they reach zero it's game over!

How do you get rid of bombs in Candy Crush Saga? To remove one from the board you simply have to match it with 2 or more other sweets of the same colour. It can aslo be removed by any of the special candy's. A line blast by a striped, or a blast from wrapped or spotted candy's will remove a bomb. The problem is that on most levels, not all, getting rid of one bomb doesn't stop more appearing! So you have to be constantly vigilant looking out for more bombs!

Unless there is a very long countdown don't waste an opportunity to destroy a bomb as you may not get another chance. Bombs are not all bad however, they are worth points each when you destroy them, so will help to increase your score for more stars. Email This BlogThis!
